Where is Hua Hin?
Hua Hin is the traditional summer retreat of the Thai Royal family, situated on the Gulf of Thailand’s Western shore, a few hours south of Bangkok.
What is the weather like in Hua Hin in February?
You will be pleased to hear that February is one of the cooler months of the year, but remember this is still Thailand and 25 or 26 degrees celsius is not uncommon. The sea breeze at this time of year will help cool you down and keep the humidity at bay.
Where do I fly to?
There are direct flights available from Kuala Lumpur to Hua Hin. However if flying from Kuala Lumpur is not an option you must fly into either BKK (Suvarnabhumi) or DMK (Don Mueang) International Airports.
How do I get to the conference from Bangkok?
There are a number of options available to conference delegates in terms of getting to the conference. These are:
1. Fly direct in Hua Hin Airport and catch a short taxi to the hotel you have been assigned.
2. Fly into BKK or DMK and catch a taxi or limo down to Hua Hin – must be arranged personally.
3. Fly into BKK or DMK and catch the X2 Convoy down to the beach house. The X2 Convoy is by far the most fun way to arrive. More details on the convoy coming later.
Where does the convoy leave from?
The convoy leaves from the lobby of the Marriott Marquis Bangkok. The hotel have provided special accommodation prices for X2 members on the 18th, 19th, and 20st February.
When does the conference finish?
The last meeting will draw to its conclusion at 5pm on 26th February 2020.
What do I do when the conference finishes?
There is no fixed group transportation back to Bangkok after the conference, which means there are many options; you can relax and put your feet up for a few days, or even longer, with special rates at the Dusit Thai Hua Hin.. available exclusively through X2.

What do I need to pack for the conference?
A combination of business attire (smart casual) and summer dress would be appropriate. Swimming shorts a must, along with special items for the Gala Dinner evening and Cargo Weekend. Sports clothing also if you are that way inclined.
